Written for the 2014 Royal Air Force Massed Bands United Kingdom concerttour to commemorate the 50 th Anniversary of the world-famous Royal Air Force Red Arrows aerobatics team. The title, Diamond Nine, refers to the team’s signature ‘Diamond’ formation. The excitement, precision, daring and courage of the nine pilots is captured by this taut, energy filled concert march.
