The Awesome Beauty of Nature is a reflection on the dramatic power of nature. It starts with quiet clusters and then expands organically and with single lines taking their own course as the music changes colours and moods, building with power and grandeur, reaching its peak and then receding into the distance. I did not have one particular scene in mind and I find it very difficult to define in words, but the music seeks to express those moments when nature calls our pretensions to heel and stuns us anew with its amazing beauty and boundless creativity. This music is not technically difficult but always requires good control and fine tone.
